The Moldovan Diaries is a multimedia documentary about the social identity of the Republic of Moldova by Paolo Paterlini and Cesare De Giglio. ‘What does it mean to be a Moldovan citizen today?’ is the unifying thread of the project, which is both a diary containing the memories of the several communities united within the country’s borders and an inquiry into a crucial phase in the history of the least known country in Europe.
