Is this image of New Zealand's lupins a dream or a nightmare?

Richard Bloom’s photograph of lupins on the South Island of New Zealand won International Garden Photographer of the Year 2016. But there’s more to this award-winning photograph than a stunning scene full of flowers. The lupins that look so beautiful are actually a non-native, invasive species. In New Zealand where the picture was taken their detrimental impact is huge.
